| Club Officer
Duties
President:
- Leads the club.
- Promotes excellence.
- Presides over club meetings.
- Chairs Executive Committee and conducts Club business.
- Understands and used the distinguished club plan.
- Attends District training sessions.
- Prepares and submits semiannual reports to Toastmasters International.
- Coaches other executives as required.
- Attends and votes at Area and District Council meetings.
- Votes at Regional and International meetings.
VP of Education:
- Plans dynamic Club meetings.
- Promotes the Toastmasters International education program.
- Orients new members to Toastmasters International and the club.
- Helps all members become effective evaluators.
- Arranges for Speechcraft and other S/L programs.
- Arranges for Youth Leadership Programs.
- Encourages member to participate in all Toastmaster International
activities.
- Administers speech contest.
- Organizes a Speakers Bureau.
- Chairs the education committee.
- Attends and participates in the Executive Committee.
- Presides in the absence of the President.
- Attends and votes at Area and District Council.
- Votes at Regional and International meetings.
VP Membership:
- Builds Club membership.
- Increases membership satisfaction.
- Prepares the Semiannual Membership Report.
- Chairs the Membership Committee.
- Attends and participates in the Executive Committee.
- Attends and votes at Area and District Council.
VP Public Relations:
- Creates a Public Relations program.
- Prepares publicity materials.
- Produces a Club bulletin
- Write for company publications.
- Chair the Public Relations Committee.
- Attends and participates in the Executive Committee.
Secretary:
- Maintains accurate member roster.
- Records and reads meeting minutes.
- Assists with the Semiannual Membership Report.
- Reports new officers to Toastmasters International and District
Governor.
- Prepares and mails orders for Toastmasters International supplies.
- Circulates TIPS, Supply Catalog and Toastmaster Magazine.
- Keeps the Club Constitution and Bylaws.
- Maintains general Club correspondence
- Attends and participates in the Executive Committee.
Treasurer:
- Prepares the annual budget for the Club.
- Provides bank with new signature card.
- Notifies each Club member in writing of dues payable.
- Collects payable duties and fees.
- Issues checks to Toastmasters International for dues.
- Pays all bills promptly.
- Keeps full and accurate records of all monies.
- Presents a monthly financial report.
- Submits Club accounts for audit.
- Responds to government or tax agency inquiries.
- Maintains the Club employer identification number.
- Attends and participates in the Executive Committee.
Sergeant at Arms:
- Arranges meeting room and equipment.
- Greets all guests and members.
- Arranges for food services at any meal meeting.
- Collects ballots and tallies votes for awards.
- Maintains Club's equipment and materials.
- Chairs the Social and Reception Committee.
- Attends and participates in the Executive Committee.
Past President:
- Chairs the Nominating Committee.
- Helps with the Distinguished Club Program.
- Promotes a Club's efforts to become a Distinguished Club.
- Provides guidance and serves as a resource.
